We all have a part to play to protect consumers who borrow money. Our commitment to ethical practices is key to the success of our referral program.

For this reason, the Unloan Referral Program simplifies the process for you to responsibly refer your customers to Unloan.

You’re not permitted to handle customer information or documents.

In fact, we will only accept information and documents provided to us by end-consumers directly (e.g. through our secure document upload portal). To access this portal, customers must login to an authenticated environment.

Nationwide customer support.

Once your customers apply, one of our Home Loan Specialists are assigned based on several considerations including capacity and availability. This minimises key person dependencies and promotes timely service.

Our expectations of you

When participating in the Unloan Referral Program, we expect the following from you (in line with or in addition to any obligations set out in the Referral Agreement):

  1. Refer responsibly: Inform that Unloan offers home loans, give your link, and disclose that you will receive a financial benefit. Ensure that you adhere to our responsible referral guidelines.

  2. Legal compliance: Ensure that you provide referral services in a manner that aligns with all applicable legislative requirements and the Referral Agreement.

  3. Trust and confidentiality: Maintain the privacy and security of personal information that you receive from your customers. Please refrain from sharing this information to Unloan, along with asking for any personal information as part of the Unloan referral process.

  4. Prohibited conduct: Do not recommend Unloan to consumers, or suggest they apply for a particular credit product or amount. Representations on behalf of Unloan or misrepresentation of our products are strictly prohibited.

  5. Be transparent: You must disclose any benefits you may receive from the referral process when you share your link.

  6. Responsibility for nominees: As a referrer, you are accountable for the conduct of your employees, contractors, or sub-agents regarding referral services. Ensure that each nominee understands their obligations under your agreement.
